Perissinotto Spa is ready to show once again the wonders of its PEMO Three-stage Pump in Tecna 2024, the International Exhibition of Surface Technologies and Supplies. For over 40 years, Tecna has been the world rendez-vous for companies involved in process technologies, equipment, aesthetics and design for the ceramic and brick industry. From 24 to 27 September, at least 300 exhibitors will converge at the biennial Rimini fair, 30% of which will come from abroad, and a flow of visitors of almost 20 thousand units from over 100 countries is expected.
Perissinotto Spa’s PEMO Pumps are a permanent presence at Tecna. For decades we have been exhibiting our technology and our technicians answer questions from visitors to our stand. This year, Perissinotto Spa will occupy a stand of about 70 square meters (pavillion D1, stand 201) in which it will once again remember the advantages of a model that has made history, the PEMO Three-stage pump.
Overall, at Tecna, Perissinotto Spa exhibits 6 products including 3 different three-stage models, one “tank” pump and one “with lung”, and a powder dissolver. But the real protagonist will be the PEMO Three-stage Pump, available today in different versions.
PEMO Three-stage Pumps: 15 years of success and more than 200 units sold in the ceramics industry
Evolved over the years in different versions, the PEMO Three-stage Pump was born as a feed pump for slip atomizers – i.e. for the preparation of the powder used in ceramic mixtures – but it is particularly effective for different pumping needs in other contexts as well.
Born in 2010, the PEMO Three-stage Pump immediately proved to be revolutionary. Designed to replace traditional piston pumps – which showed all their limits in terms of machine downtime, repair times and reliability in general – the PEMO Three-stage Pump is a three-body pump totally designed in every detail by the engineers of Perissinotto Spa, after several studies and the development over time of the previous versions, also technically very different.
In these 15 years, many have tried to imitate it, without ever even imagining reaching the quality levels of the Perissinotto Spa model due to an evident lack of experience and specific skills and a choice of non-quality materials and components.
Experience and skills that, instead, have allowed Perissinotto Spa – an Italian company with more than 75 years of history behind it, to still excel today in this field, selling more than 200 units in the ceramics sector alone. To these, over the years, units sold in mining or water purification have been added, just to give a few examples.
PEMO Three-stage Pumps have a guaranteed flow rate of up to 80 m3/h of slip and up to a density of 1750 grams per liter, reaches a pressure of up to 25 bar and guarantees an installed power of 55 Kw for flow rates up to 20 m3/h and pressures up to 18 bar or 75 Kw for flow rates up to 30 m3/h and pressures of 22 bar. Among the distinctive features of the PEMO Three-stage Pumps family we point out the management of the linear flow rate or stable pressure at the nozzles of the atomizer, with consequent management of humidity and particle size of the machine.
The choice of filters and the engineering as a whole allow the use of PEMO Three-stage Pumps in any production context where it is necessary to maintain control over the density of the required liquid solution such as in the mining and aggregates treatment sector, in the purification of sludge and liquids, in filter press systems and in various applications in quarries.
Perissinotto Spa’s PEMO Three-stage Pumps also guarantee limited water consumption for flushing seals (from 2 to 5 litres per minute at 1-3 bar pressure). Maintenance is drammatically lower than equivalent pumps of the competition, thanks to the choice of top quality materials and, finally, another determining factor that has contributed to Perissinotto Spa becoming a world reference in ceramic processing, is certainly the limited footprint.
